Despite the changing trends in business dynamics, businesses will always be about people, and when there are people it’s important to build strong affiliations and actually leverage on them for your business goals and growth.
There will always be someone that knows someone that’s knows somebody that you need to connect with, when you are trying to achieve a goal reach out and ask them to help set up meetings for you.
There could also be contacts you have built over time, use those.
Truth is you can’t succeed much without leveraging on relationships whether they are yours or your friends contacts that’s because it is believed we are separated by six degrees, so before you get to your sixth degree connect you would have found someone that can help your business in one way or another.
My formal boss will always say, business is about relationships, so build trust and become valuable.
Leveraging on relationship are a phone call or a visit away, do not be shy or afraid to ask for help, strong men said they have achieved more by riding on shoulders of giants.
The contacts in your phones are not for fancy, they should help you grow your business and if they aren’t doing that ditch them and find new contacts when you do be sure to make it valuable and actually use them.
